Meet Reba Martin
Reba grew up watching Matlock on television and always wanted to be a lawyer. Even with several military moves due to her husband’s service in the Marine Corps, including living in Japan, she has always considered Tarrant County to be home. Reba earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2016. During college, she volunteered over 1,000 hours for Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society before becoming director of the Iwakuni, Japan office. She graduated with her master’s in public administration from UT Arlington in 2019 while working as a special education aide for Mansfield ISD.
During law school, she combined her desire to help others with her interest in family law by working in the Texas A&M Family and Veterans Advocacy Clinic. Reba also worked in the law school’s Medical and Legal Partnership Clinic doing guardianships for families of disabled children through a program with Cook Children’s Hospital. She also interned for Fort Worth ISD’s legal office and for Cutrer Law Group. Reba served as a student representative and executive board member on the Student Bar Association and Articles Editor for the Journal of Property Law. Reba graduated with her Juris Doctor from Texas A&M School of Law with honors in May 2023 with a concentration in family law. She is very proud to be an Aggie Lawyer.
